MSU-Northern Basketball Splits with University of Providence

In the second game of the twin bill on Tuesday Night Frontier Conference basketball the men of the University of Providence and the MSU-Northern Lights battled throughout the evening, forty minutes wasn’t enough, they were tied at 74 a piece and then into overtime. The battle waged on a point here, a point there, and then in the final moments the MSU-Northern Lights one last chance, one last shot to get the win on the road. Bakalarsky’s basket proved to be the difference as the Lights eek out 87-85 overtime win to go to 2-3 in conference play. Leading the way for the Lights was Mascio McCadney with 23 points, 17 more for Kavon Bey and 13 more for Justin Dunsmore. In the first game of the evening, the MSU-Northern Skylights would fall to the Lady Argos 56-50. The Skylights were led by Hovde with 15 points. The Lights and Skylights back on their home court this Saturday night as they take on Montana Tech, games at 6 and 8 on QX 92.5 FM and KPQX.com.
