MGGA Elects Officers and Sets Policy for 2019

GREAT FALLS, Mont. (NMB) – The Montana Grain Growers Association concluded a successful convention and trade show in Great Falls with approval of a policy platform and the election of new officers for the coming year. A press release says that this year’s event was attended by almost 900 farmers, guests and agribusiness members.

Lyle Benjamin of Sunburst was installed as MGGA President for 2019. The elected Vice President was Vince Mattson from Chester, Mitch Konen from Fairfield was elected as Treasurer and Tryg Koch from Kalispell will serve as Secretary. Michelle Erickson-Jones from Broadview will serve as Past President.

Re-elected to serve a second term on the board of directors was Josh Stentoft, David Ratzburg, and Evan Volf. New directors include Adam Billmayer from Hogeland, Eric Hanson from Gildford, Trevor Schock from Vida, and Scott Glasscock from Angela.
